EVER WONDER WHERE GOD WAS?

When tragedy strikes, it’s natural to ask, “If God loves us, where was He?” Take that terrible crash in DC between a commuter jet and a Black Hawk helicopter. Sixty-seven lives were lost. Moments like that make us ask questions.

But here’s what we need to know most: God’s love doesn’t sit back with folded arms, offering theological answers. He goes to work. He shows up to comfort the grieving, strengthen the weary, and work through first responders and skilled doctors.

That’s always been His way. When the world was falling, God did more than talk. He sent His Son to rescue us. “God showed how much he loved us by sending his one and only Son… This is real love” (1 John 4:9-10 NLT).

A.W. Tozer nailed it: “God’s love isn’t passive or sentimental; it takes action.”

So, when your life feels like it’s falling apart, remember, God’s is there with you—working, healing, and showing up.
