Choose God’s Blessing for You Today
Decide to fill your day with blessings not curses. The Bible says that God gave the children of Israel, His children, a choice, “See, I am setting before you today a blessing and a curse.” Deuteronomy 11:26 (NIV)
All our actions and choices have consequences. And when we make bad choices leading us to bad actions, we invite curses right through the front door of our lives.
A blessing is a form of joy we receive because of something we do that is good—something we do in service to our Lord or his children. And sometimes we receive blessings we don’t deserve because we have a gracious and giving Heavenly Father.
Your Heavenly Father does not want you to invite curses into your lives. This very day He has prepared blessings for you, but to receive His blessings, you must choose to accept them. Also, you must choose to be a blessing or a curse to others. Choose to be a blessing no matter what.
